Both rates above are charged on the payments a plan collects. Finance on a bigger job runs through an authorised lending partner and is not part of either rate.

When do I actually pay anything?
When a customer's payment goes through. Both rates are charged on the payment itself. A month with no payments costs you nothing.
Can the rate on a subscription change later?
No. Each subscription carries the rate it started on for as long as it runs. The rate used is recorded against every payment, and you can check it.
Could a customer of mine end up on the Discovery rate?
Only one who arrived through a Planramp discovery surface, and only where Planramp can show that is what happened. Direct is the default, and anything we cannot substantiate is charged as Direct.
What if a customer's payment fails?
It is retried automatically, and you are not the one chasing it. A payment that never goes through is not one you are charged on.
Do you take anything from work outside the plan?
No. The rates apply to the payments a plan collects through Planramp. A repair you quote and invoice yourself sits outside it.
Do I need a payment account of my own?
Yes, and it is set up as part of getting started. Payments land in an account in your own business's name. Planramp's own balance is never in the path.
Do I pay more for running more than one plan?
No. There is no cost per plan and no monthly subscription fee. The rates apply to the payments your plans collect, however many plans are collecting them.
What happens to the fee if I change my price?
The rate stays as it is and the amount follows your price. Changing what you charge does not move a subscription to a different rate.
